LCA Workshop – December ‘22

ConsenCUS joined other Horizon funded CCUS projects in a 2-day LCA to CCUS workshop to discuss the ins and outs of doing Life Cycle Assessment studies of CCUS solutions.This workshop was initiated by the project eForFuel and with input form ConsenCUS and other projects we discussed the various ways to look at LCA studies. The objective was to:

(1) share experiences regarding the application of LCA to CCUS and alternative fuel technologies;
(2) Finding a common ground on the methodological issues emerging and applying a common methodological approach;
(3) Providing recommendations for policymakers in the form of a policy recommendations report or white paper.

The workshop was well attended by partners form projects on CCUS.
